    Classic Physique Favorites

Below are three likely standouts in the Classic Physique division to keep eyes on during callouts.

    Michael Daboul

Michael Daboul finished 10th at the 2022 Classic Physique Olympia. He is a two-time Arnold Classic UK Classic Physique winner. This is the fourth-year pro’s 2023 season debut, and he hopes to earn an Olympia invite in Pittsburgh so he can commit six months to prepare for it.

    Camilo Diaz

Diaz was a 2022 Olympia competitor but finished out of the top 15. He won one show in 2022: the Mid-USA Pro. He’s never set foot on the Pittsburgh Pro stage in his career, thus this will be his Pittsburgh Pro debut and his first pro appearance of 2023.

    Daniil Famponte

Famponte is a rookie but made his presence known via his 2023 Charlotte Pro win and third-place ranking at the Fitworld Pro. He’s already qualified for the Olympia, and has proven he has what the judges are looking for in a pro show winner.

If Famponte claims another win in Pittsburgh, he will block the Olympia invite to another athlete, as Olympia invites do not pass down. Everyone else in the lineup who does not take home gold will have to compete at least once more to secure that important invite to the Olympia.

    Men’s Open Guest Posers

Outside of the competitions, many fans look forward to the Pittsburgh Pro because it’s become a show where the biggest names in the Men’s Open guest pose before they begin their Olympia preps. This is a tradition that goes back decades in the sport, and 2023 is no exception.

The guest posers for this show are below:
