    Ingredients

    • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    • Olive oil
    • Seasoning salt – Lawry’s
    • Black pepper
    • Optional: additional seasonings of your choice (e.g., Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper)

    Directions

    1. Brush the outside of the chicken breasts with oil. Brush the inside of the air fryer baskets as well—this will help the chicken not to stick while it cooks.
    2. Sprinkle the seasoning salt and pepper (and any other seasonings you wish to use) over the chicken.
    3. Place the chicken breasts in the fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap. This allows the hot air to circulate around the chicken evenly.
    4. Cook the chicken breasts in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for approximately 10-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking process. The exact time may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
    5. To ensure they are cooked thoroughly, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature, which should reach 165°F (75°C).
    6. Once cooked, remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes to retain their juiciness. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

    Tips & More Ideas

    • Marinate for extra flavor: If time permits, marinate the chicken breasts for 30 minutes to 1 hour before air frying. This will enhance the taste and tenderness of the meat. You can use a combination of soy sauce, herbs, spices, or even a simple lemon and herb marinade.
    • Serve with healthy sides: Pair your air fryer chicken breasts with nutritious sides such as roasted vegetables, steamed broccoli, or a fresh salad for a well-balanced meal.
    • Use this recipe in other recipes like: caesar salad, fajitas, rice bowls, stir fry dishes, and more!
    • Experiment with different seasonings: Don’t be afraid to get creative with your seasonings. Try adding smoked paprika, chili powder, or even a sprinkle of parmesan cheese for a different flavor.
