    The 2023 Scotland’s Strongest Woman contest took place on July 2, 2023, in Grangemouth, United Kingdom, alongside the 2023 Scotland’s Strongest Man contest won by Louis Jack. Eight strongwomen competed in five events — Duck Walk for Time, Max Deadlift, Log Lift for Reps, HorneTop Hold for Time, and the Atlas Stones — during the single-day competition.

    Izzy Tait emerged victorious over her fellow countrywomen, scoring 37 of a possible 40 points. The final standings are below:

    Duck Walk for Time

    Each strongwoman had 75 seconds to carry the 100-kilogram weight as far down the 60-meter course as possible. Only Beetham completed the course within the time cap.

    1. Laura Baxter — 60 meters in 51.36 seconds
    2. Izzy Tait — 53 meters
    3. Hayley Black — 45 meters
    4. Sammy Mayhew — 43.35 meters
    5. Rosslyn Cole — 43.3 meters
    6. Anastasia Papas — 39.74 meters
    7. Steffi Murray — 37.5 meters
    8. Dianne Gaughan — 29.03 meters

    Max Deadlift

    Each athlete attempted to deadlift increasing weight in rounds. The weights were 180, 200, 220, 240, and 250 kilograms.

    1. Izzy Tait — 250 kilograms
    2. Laura Baxter — 240 kilograms
    3. Hayley Black — 200 kilograms (T-third)
    4. Steffi Murray — 200 kilograms (T-third)
    5. Dianne Gaughan — 200 kilograms (T-third)
    6. Rosslyn Cole — 200 kilograms (T-third)
    7. Sammy Mayhew — 180 kilograms (T-seventh)
    8. Anastasia Papas — 180 kilograms (T-seventh)

    Log Lift for Reps

    Each strongwoman had 75 seconds to lock out as many reps of 70 kilograms as possible.

    3. Dianne Gaughan — Nine reps
    4. Sammy Mayhew — Eight reps
    5. Laura Baxter — Seven reps (T-fifth)
    6. Hayley Black — Seven reps (T-fifth)
    7. Rosslyn Cole — Three reps
    8. Anastasia Papas — no lift

    HorneTop Hold for Time

    Each athlete attempted to sustain the 60-pound implement for the longest time possible.

    2. Izzy Tait — 61.37 seconds
    3. Laura Baxter — 58.41 seconds
    4. Hayley Black — 49.83 seconds
    5. Steffi Murray — 48.82 seconds
    6. Sammy Mayhew — 27.98 seconds
    7. Rosslyn Cole — 21.78 seconds
    8. Dianne Gaughan — 18.4 seconds

    Atlas Stones

    The Atlas Stones were comprised of five implements weighing 70, 85, 100, 115, and 130 kilograms. Each stone had to be loaded onto a four-foot, six-inch platform in the fastest possible time, within 75 seconds.

    1. Laura Baxter — Five in 29.77 seconds
    2. Izzy Tait — Five in 49.3 seconds
    3. Hayley Black — Four in 28.29 seconds
    4. Sammy Mayhew — Four in 22.9 seconds
    5. Anastasia Papas — Four in 25.11 seconds
    6. Steffi Murray — Four in 50.08 seconds
    7. Dianne Gaughan — Four in 68.49 seconds
    8. Rosslyn Cole — Three in 34.6 seconds
