    2023 Strongman Champions League World Record Breakers Results — Aivars Šmaukstelis’ Reign Continues – Fitnessnacks

    The 2023 Strongman Champions League (SCL) World Record Breakers competition occurred on July 29-30, 2023, in Finland. The contest featured 10 of the world’s top strongmen compete across eight events: Machine Pull, Bag Over Bar, Front Hold, Frame Carry, Motor Grader Pull, Deadlift, Hercules Hold, and a Medley.

    At the conclusion of the two-day contest, Aivars Šmaukstelis of Latvia emerged victorious to continue his dominant 2023 season in the SCL. Check out the full results below:

    2. Mika Törrö (Finland) — 56.5 points

    Machine Pull

    The Machine Pull tested each strongman’s ability to pull 22,000 kilograms 20 meters in the fastest possible time.

    Bag Over Bar

    The Bag Over Bar was comprised of six implements ranging from 22 to 35 kilograms. Each implement had to be tossed over a 4.2-meter high bar in the fastest time possible.

    Front Hold

    The Front Hold was scored for time with a 30-kilogram implement.

    Down a 15-meter course, each strongman pulled for their fastest possible time within the 75-second time limit.
