Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats continued to make an impact in the transfer portal Wednesday, as the program landed their sixth commitment through the portal in the last two weeks early in the day from Koby Brea.
A transfer guard from Dayton, Brea has appeared in 113 career games over the last four seasons with the Flyers, 21 of which he started. Over that span, Brea, a two-time A-10 Sixth Man of the Year, has averaged 7.9 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 1.1 APG on 43.4% shooting from three.
This past season, Brea was named A-10 Sixth Man of the Year for what was the second time during his collegiate career, starting in 4-of-33 games for the Flyers. Brea averaged 11.1 PPG, 3.8 RPG, and 1.2 APG during that season, while also shooting 51.2% from the field, 49.8% from three, and 87.5% at the free throw line.
The Dayton transfer now continues what has been an impressive haul for new Kentucky head coach Mark Pope in the transfer portal, as he is the seventh different player to commit to the Wildcats.
