College baseball fans, we are now officially down to eight.
After months of action, we are officially down to eight teams remaining in college baseball after the NCAA Super Regionals this past weekend, which means that all eyes will now turn to Omaha for the 2024 Men’s College World Series.
Set to begin this Friday, this year’s version of college baseball’s premier annual event is a unique one as well, as the entire eight-team field is composed from only two conferences – the ACC and SEC. Of those eight teams, five come from the ACC, while the SEC sends three to Omaha.
