A search continued this week for a 51-year-old man who went missing after jumping into Lake Perris on Saturday, June 15, authorities said.
Around 4 p.m. that day, the victim jumped off of a vessel into open waters on the west end of the lake, State Park Superintendent John Rowe said.
Authorities began their search at the last known location of the victim with help from the Riverside County Sheriff Dive Team and Aviation Unit.
The victim was not found, and a subsequent search on Sunday was unsuccessful as well.
Authorities continued the search on Monday, June 17, but no rescues had been announced by early afternoon.
