The Auburn Tigers officially picked up one of their biggest recruiting wins of the 2025 cycle Friday afternoon, as highly-touted in-state running back Alvin Henderson flipped his commitment to the program.
Henderson had previously been committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions since April of 2024.
As mentioned previously, Henderson is an in-state prospect for the Tigers where he attends Elba High School in Alabama. There, Henderson is an accomplished player for the Class 1A program who has rushed for over 7,000+ yards during his high school career, as well as 3,523 yards and an Alabama high school record 61 rushing touchdowns a year ago.
A four-star prospect, Henderson is also considered as the nation’s No. 113 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, as well as the No. 8 running back nationally. Henderson also ranks as the No. 11 player in the state of Alabama.
