Monday was not necessarily the kindest day to the Ole Miss Rebels on the recruiting front, as the program saw a trio of players – Jerome Myles, Dillon Alfred, and Corey Amos – announce that they would be re-opening their recruitments.
All three of those names were members of the Rebels 2025 recruiting class.
Beginning with Myles, the four-star prospect is arguably the biggest name of the three, and had previously been committed to the Rebels since April of 2024. Myles attends Corner Canyon High School in Utah where he is the state’s top player, and is considered as the No. 182 overall player nationally.
As for Alfred, the four-star prospect is a wide receiver from the state of Alabama where he attends Saraland High School. Alfred had previously been an Ole Miss commit since April of 2024, and ranks as the No. 358 overall player nationally.
Lastly, Amos ranks as a three-star linebacker out of Opelousas High School in Louisiana. The 2025 three-star had previously been committed to the Rebels since February of 2024.
After these three decommitments, Ole Miss now has nine commitments for the 2025 cycle, and sits with the SEC’s No. 14 ranked recruiting class.
