The 2024 NBA draft is now in the rearview mirror, and already the draft junkies are looking ahead to 2025.

And while college basketball will have plenty of incoming freshmen talent – most notably Duke forward Cooper Flagg – there are also quite a few players who opted to return to school who will almost certainly be picked at this time one year from now.

Some of them – like UConn’s Alex Karaban or Wake Forest’s Hunter Sallis – likely would have been picked this week had they stayed in the draft process. Meanwhile, others are hoping the decision to transfer to another school will boost their stock and get them into the draft conversation for 2025.
