    Texas Longhorns basketball roster after adding transfer Arthur Kaluma – fitnessnacks

    As the calendar flips to July, conference realignment becomes official across the college athletics landscape. That puts the Texas Longhorns officially into the SEC, alongside the Oklahoma Sooners.

    Texas has long been a strong competitor in the very stacked Big 12 basketball conference, and now coach Rodney Terry will take a very new look roster with him into the SEC – where the likes of Alabama, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Florida await.

    The latest move for coach Terry’s team is the signing of former Kansas State wing Arthur Kaluma, a huge get in the transfer portal after Kaluma pulled out of the NBA draft process at the last minute.

    Kaluma should occupy a starting role for the Longhorns in the 2024-25 season, likely one of four new starters for UT after the program lost key cogs Max Abmas, Tyrese Hunter, and Dylan Disu over the offseason.

    Kaluma coming on board also gives Texas a full 13 scholarships, and we take a look at what a projected starting lineup and rotation could look like for the Longhorns as they make their way into the SEC:
