Excitement continues to build as the launch date for the EA Sports College Football 25 video game draws closer and closer. EA recently released a list of the top 100 rated players in the game, giving fans a glimpse of what is to come next week when the game is live.
Of the top 100 rated players only eight play the quarterback position, with none of them ending up inside the top 15. The top ranked quarterback honor goes to Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, who earned an overall rating of 93 and is the 17th ranked player overall.
Sanders completed a hair under 70% of his passes for the Buffs last season, throwing for 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns with three interceptions. Whether he finishes as the top QB in college football or not depends a lot on how Colorado adjusts to being in the Big 12, and how other quarterbacks around the sport fare next season.
Four of the other seven quarterbacks ranked in the top 100 unsurprisingly came from the SEC, while two came from the Big 12, one from the Big Ten, and one from the Group of 5 ranks.
