Week 0 gave college football fans an Irish flavored taste of how this season might go. Florida State, the only ranked team to play so far, was upset by fellow ACC opponent Georgia Tech in Dublin to kick off the season.
Meanwhile, heavy favorite SMU nearly got taken down by a Nevada squad that went 4-20 the past two seasons, while Montana State defeated New Mexico and Hawaii needed a strong second half to put away a Delaware State squad they were favored to beat by 40.
