Jake Garcia threw for 308 yards for the Pirates against the Spartans, going 23-for-36 (63.9%) with four touchdowns and three interceptions. He added seven carries for 39 yards. London Montgomery carried the ball 14 times for 67 yards (4.8 yards per attempt). Anthony Smith caught five passes on five targets for 86 yards (17.2 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
