More than 500 volunteers joined for community service projects at the 11th Annual Menifee Better Together event.

Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley and the city of Menifee organized the Saturday, April 27, event.
One highlight was the Senior Home Revitalization Project, in which volunteers did yard work, clean up and painting at 16 homes. Also, the Flower Pot Project, led by Girl Scouts Troop 354, brought colorful pots to the city.
Other initiatives included a garden/nursery revitalization, the Welcome Bag Project, Historical Association revitalization, a monuments project, Boys & Girls Club revitalization and the Menifee Rural Center revitalization, a news release states.
“The dedication and enthusiasm of the volunteers truly exemplify the spirit of unity and compassion that defines this community,” Tammy Marine, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley, said in the release. “Together, we have made a lasting impact on the lives of our fellow residents, fostering a sense of belonging and pride in Menifee.”
