Six years ago, on May 14, 35-year-old Henry Shannon was shot near the intersection of Railroad Canyon Road and Grape Street in Lake Elsinore. Shannon managed to drive about a mile west to Railroad Canyon and Church Road, where he crashed.
Shannon was taken to a hospital, where he died, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.

On Wednesday, May 15, the Sheriff’s Department asked the public for help in solving the killing. Witnesses said the shooters fled in a dark blue four-door Buick sedan made during the years 1997 to 2003.
The department asks anyone with information on the homicide to call Sgt. Lance Stoyer at 951-955-2777.
