    Kansas State Wildcats eight newcomers via NCAA transfer portal – fitnessnacks

    It’s been quite the offseason for Jerome Tang and the Kansas State Wildcats. Kansas State was a surprise team in Tang’s first season as head coach, going 26-10, ranking as high as fifth in the AP Poll, and going all the way to Elite Eight.

    Year Two wasn’t nearly on the same level, with the Wildcats finishing 19-15 and missing the big dance.

    Tang and company want to avoid a similar fate heading into the 2024-25 season, and they have undergone a complete rebuild this offseason via the transfer portal. The team brought in eight new transfers, most recently inking former Illinois forward Coleman Hawkins to a reported $2M NIL deal.

    How all the pieces fit together, particularly in the frontcourt, will be a fascinating storyline in Manhattan and the Big 12 this upcoming season. Below is a look at all eight transfer portal additions, including where they came from and their stats last season:
