USC Trojans transfer portal class highest scoring in college hoops – fitnessnacks

The USC Trojans were among college basketball’s biggest disappointments in the 2023-24 season. Armed with the No. 1 freshman in the country, Isaiah Collier, as well as 20 point per game scorer Boogie Ellis, NBA-caliber prospect Kobe Johnson, a veteran forward in DJ Rodman and a quality big man in Joshua Morgan, USC was projected by many as a top 20 team and potential top four seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Instead, injuries and ineptitude led the Trojans to a paltry 15-18 record, no postseason, and a mass exodus of talent – including all of the aforementioned players, as well as Bronny James and head coach Andy Enfield, who took the same job at SMU as they transition into the ACC.

Eric Musselman came back out west after a five year stint at Arkansas, and he got to work adding what is the highest scoring transfer portal class in the country – with the 11 players combining to average 149.3 points per game during the 2023-24 campaign:

Of course, not all college basketball scoring is created equal, and how this group of talented transfers – many coming from the Ivy League, or the WCC, or Big West – gels together under coach Muss is among the most intriguing storylines heading into this upcoming season, especially with USC transitioning into the Big Ten.

Below is a look at each of USC’s 11 transfer portal additions, including where they played last year, overall performance, and years of eligibility left:
