Conference realignment is once again at the forefront of college athletics, with steam picking up between the back-to-back men’s basketball defending champion UConn Huskies and the Big 12 conference.

While an official proposal is still being prepared for Big 12 officials, the two sides have already met and hashed out a plan that would bring UConn into the Big 12 in all sports in 2026, with football coming along five years later in 2031. That way the Big 12 member schools don’t lose money – and are more likely to vote yes – while the Huskies get a half decade to prepare the football program for the rigors of a move into a power conference.

Make no mistake though: this move is about adding the biggest non-power conference basketball brand into the best basketball conference in the country. UConn is elite at both men’s and women’s basketball, and getting to join a conference with Kansas, Baylor, Houston, Iowa State, and Arizona is a massive win for the Huskies, the Big 12, and college basketball at large.

But how has UConn done historically against current Big 12 members? Many teams in the conference will be very new for the Huskies – either they have not played at all, or not in a really long time.

Below is a look at UConn’s record in men’s basketball against each team in the Big 12, using UConn’s website to pull the data:
