In the home of the Carolina Panthers and the ACC championship game, we have our only other matchup of ranked foes. The SEC’s Tennessee Volunteers take on the ACC’s NC State Wolfpack. The Vols have one of the top young quarterbacks in the game. Nico Iamaleava looks to keep Tennessee rolling in Week 2 as they get closer to the SEC opener against the Oklahoma Sooners.
For the Wolfpack, they have questions to answer after Western Carolina kept the game close until the fourth quarter when NC State took the lead and ran away with it. They can’t beat a much tougher team this week without a better effort for all four quarters. This will be a major opportunity for quarterback Grayson McCall.
