    The 2023 Strongest Man in Iceland contest occurred on June 3, 2023. It featured 10 of Iceland’s top strongmen competing in eight events across the single-day contest. In the end, defending champion Kristján Jón Haraldsson retained his title, scoring 72.5 out of a possible 80 points. Below are the full results:

    The eight events that comprised the competition were the Max Dumbbell, the Bag Over Bar, the Front Hold, the Max Deadlift, the Arm-Over-Arm Pull, the Mooring Bitt Carry, the Block Press, and a Farmer’s Carry & Yoke Medley.

    Max Dumbbell

    Each strongman attempted to establish their max dumbbell lift.

    Each strongman had 60 seconds to toss six bags weighing 16 to 32 kilograms over a 4.3-meter bar in the fastest time possible:

    Farmer’s Carry & Yoke Medley

    The Medley consisted of a 120-kilogram farmer’s carry and a 400-kilogram yoke. Each implement was to be carried down the 20-meter course in the fastest time possible with a time cap of 90 seconds.
