Ingredients in a Tropical Smoothie
- Pineapple Juice – helps to add flavor and the perfect textures.
- Banana – use a regular, unfrozen banana.
- Coconut Milk – from a can is best.
- Frozen Mango – arguably the most delicious smoothie ingredient!
- Frozen Pineapple – adds to that tropical flavor.
- Maraschino Cherry – optional garnish
- Pineapple Wedge – optional garnish
My favorite blender is my Vitamix blender. My favorite (more affordable) option is this Ninja blender.
How to Make a Tropical Smoothie
Starting with the liquids, combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until completely smooth. Serve in a glass with a straw.
The glasses I am using here are mason jars with handles and I love these glass straws as well.
Tips for Making
- The more mango you use, the more bright orange your smoothie will appear.
- Using frozen fruit eliminates the need to use ice in your smoothie—so it’s even more rich and delicious.
- I like serving smoothies in mason jars with handles with glass straws.
- Other ingredients you can add: papaya, strawberry, coconut, orange juice or mango juice. It’s totally fine to swap out ingredients and use what you have on hand.
