According to a report, the Arkansas Razorbacks have picked up a noteworthy commitment to their football roster, as former MLB player Monte Harrison has reportedly committed to the program.
Harrison, who has not played professionally during the 2024 season so far, is a former second round pick from the 2014 MLB draft who has been solely a baseball player since. Over that stretch, Harrison saw action in 50 games at the MLB level, which came across three seasons from 2020-22 with both the Miami Marlins and Los Angeles Angels.
As mentioned previously, Harrison has not played football since his time in high school, but was still a notable prospect during his prep days, rated as a three-star wide receiver out of Lee’s Summit West in Missouri according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Coming out of high school in the 2014 class, Harrison was also once a Nebraska signee.

The 28-year-old former baseball player will now join the Razorbacks as a wide receiver.
