Another week is in the books for the college baseball season. As the season edges closer to a close, the Tennessee Volunteers and the SEC continue to dominate the latest rankings. Four of the top five teams as voted on by the coaches have an SEC flare.

Beyond the top five, four more make the top 25 and a future team makes it an even 10 in this week’s ranking. The Vols are coming off a series win against the Florida Gators, while the Texas A&M Aggies dropped a three-game set about the LSU Tigers allowing Tennessee to take over the top spot.

The Georgia Bulldogs jumped six spots this week after a series sweep against the Vanderbilt Commodores, who fell completely out of the top 25 after coming in at No. 13 last week.

The biggest winner of the week is Troy, they became ranked after jumping up nine spots to No. 22 overall. The Trojans were winners of eight straight before Sunday’s finale against No. 18 Louisiana, who fell from the top 25. Troy faces off with No. 25 Alabama on Tuesday.

The biggest losers of the week are the aforementioned Vanderbilt Commodores, who fell a total of 14 spots to No. 27. The Commodores are 1-5 in their last two conference series and needed extra innings to take down in-state school, Tennessee Tech. In the final two SEC series of the season are against No. 1 Tennessee and No. 5 Kentucky.
